Kuruman Community Trust Mobile Medical Clinic

The Kuruman Community Trust (KCT) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2005 to improve the lives of the people of Kuruman and surrounding communities. In 2015, the KCT launched the KCT Mobile Medical Clinic, in partnership with Innovo Mobile Health and the Northern Cape Department of Health.

The mobile clinic provides comprehensive healthcare services, including primary healthcare, dental and optometry, to various outlying communities in the district of Kuruman. The clinic travels to different communities on a daily basis, providing services free of charge to almost 70,000 members of the community over the past 5 years.

The mobile clinic has had a significant impact on the health of the communities it serves. In the first year of operation, the clinic provided services to over 12,000 patients. This number has increased steadily each year, and in the last year, the clinic provided services to over 24,000 patients.

The mobile clinic has also helped to improve the quality of life for the people it serves. Many of the patients who use the clinic live in remote areas and would not otherwise have access to healthcare. The clinic provides a convenient and affordable way for these people to get the care they need.

The KCT Mobile Medical Clinic is a successful example of how a non-profit organization can partner with the private sector to provide much-needed healthcare services to communities in need. The clinic has made a significant impact on the health of the communities it serves, and it is an example of how corporate social responsibility can make a real difference in the lives of people.
