Community Health Programme in De Aar
The scope of the project was to provide Primary Healthcare, Dental, Eye Clinic and COVID-19 related services to students, educators and community members in De Aar. The aim was to provide a clinical programme that will serve the community’s needs.
Project Outcome
We conducted screenings in various locations within the Pixley Ka Seme District Municipality, namely:
- De Aar
- Britstown
- Petrusville
- Phillipstown
- Hanover
Our services were extended to all locations within the Pixley Ka Seme District Municipality during the period. We conducted a total of 164,367 combined health services during the project period February 2020 to March 2023.
We have also conducted 68,832 COVID screenings in the Pixley Ka Seme District Municipality during the same period.
We have continued to extend the reach of our ISHP Health Services to Renosterberg with the addition of health targeted campaigns periodically.
